The problem

Most businesses have a story far better than the one they're telling. The work is great, the people are better, and it all gets squeezed into a post nobody finishes. We find the true version and film it, so people feel it before they've read a word.

Three kinds of story.

What we tell

Show the work while it's happening. Building, launching, restoring, opening. People trust what they can watch unfold, and it gives you months of material from one well-planned shoot.

  • Builds
  • Openings
  • Fit-outs
  • Product development

News deserves more than a post. We turn launches, milestones and changes into short films and image sets that people actually finish watching, and then act on.

  • Announcements

The film that says who you are and why you do it. Founders, teams, places and craft, shaped into the one story that makes the right people lean in.

How it works(4 steps)

No mystery.

You know every step before it happens. Nothing is filmed until you've approved the story. That one rule removes most of the risk of hiring a stranger with a camera.

  1. 01

    A conversation

Twenty minutes, no pitch. You tell us what's going on, we ask the questions that find the real story.

You get: a clear view of whether film is the right move.
  2. 02

    The story, on paper

We write the angle, tone and shot list in plain language. You approve it, change it, or walk away.

You get: a one-page story plan and a fixed quote.
  3. 03

    The shoot

A small, calm crew that fits around your day. We film the people and the work as they really are.

You get: a shoot that doesn't disrupt your business.
  4. 04

    The delivery

A hero film, shorter cuts for social and your website, and edited photography, sized for everywhere you'll use them.

You get: everything ready to publish, and the rights to use it.
Story Spark(try it)

Story Spark.

See how we think, before you commit to anything. Tell us a little and we'll show you the angle we'd take, and the moments we'd film.

What's going on?

Your story angle will appear here.

How we work with you(4)

Four promises.

01

You approve the story first.

The angle, tone and shot list are agreed in writing before a camera comes out.

02

One fixed price.

Quoted after our first conversation. No surprise extras, no hourly meter running.

03

Plain language.

No jargon, no hype, no pressure. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you so.

04

You keep what we make.

Full rights to use the final film and photography, agreed up front.

Who's behind it

A note from the person with the camera.

I've spent my career on the other side of the lens, in studios, on tour buses and on sets, working with Universal, Sony, Hanergy and artists like Clannad. What it taught me is simple. People can tell when something is true.

Most businesses have a better story than the one they're telling. It's usually sitting in plain sight: the person who started it, the thing they won't compromise on, the work nobody gets to see.

I'll find it, shape it, and film it so people feel it before they've read a word about you. If you've got something going on, tell me about it. I'll reply myself.

Questions(6)

Questions.

Every story is quoted individually after a short call, so you only pay for what the story needs. You'll get one fixed price in writing before anything is booked.

A typical story takes two to three weeks from first conversation to delivery. Bigger films take longer, and we'll tell you honestly up front.

Not unless you want to. Many of the best stories are about the work, the place or the team. When you are on camera, we make it easy and keep it natural.

A hero film, shorter cutdowns for social and your website, and a set of edited photographs, all sized for the places you will use them.

That's the most common starting point, and it's the first thing we help with. Try Story Spark above, or just tell us what's going on and we'll find it together.
